Job Description
As a Store Manager at Tekkie Town, you will oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and smooth management. Your key responsibilities include motivating and leading the sales team, creating tailored business strategies, managing budgets and controllable expenses, and training staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience through in-depth product knowledge, maintaining stock availability, upholding high housekeeping standards, staying on top of fashion trends, and minimizing stock losses.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 1-2 years of management experience in a similar retail environment
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Business acumen with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities
- Customer service-oriented with a strong focus on relationship building
- Confidence, decisiveness, and passion for the brand

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance
- Manage staff schedules and operations
- Oversee budgets (P&L, payroll) and ensure financial objectives are met
- Maintain statistical and financial records (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally
- Maximize profitability by achieving sales targets and motivating the team
- Oversee visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Manage inventory and ensure stock is accounted for
- Ensure the security of store equipment
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff
- Develop store-specific action plans to minimize stock loss
