Job Description:
The purpose of the Store Manager role is to deliver superior customer service by achieving optimal turnover results, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, and fostering staff motivation and development with a customer-focused approach. The Store Manager will play a key role in managing store operations, enhancing sales performance, and driving a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications:

GR 12 (Matric) with Mathematics
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Previous experience in store management is essential.

Strong customer service orientation.

Proven management skills and the ability to develop subordinates.

Ability to plan, organize, and control store operations effectively.

Computer literacy.

Working knowledge of budgeting.

Strong analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve sales and profit budgets by effectively managing store resources.

Protect all assets, including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales and lay-bye targets for all staff, and evaluate performance to ensure budget goals are met. Take corrective action where necessary.

Ensure store layout aligns with company standards.

Deliver excellent customer service.

Ensure correct administration procedures for stock room, markdowns, and lay-bys.

Oversee effective merchandise replenishment and maintain store housekeeping standards.

Manage people effectively, including recruiting, developing, and guiding staff to ensure a customer-friendly and efficient store environment.
