Position Purpose:
As a Store Manager at PEP, you will lead your team to achieve business objectives by driving sales, controlling costs, minimizing risks and stock loss, and ensuring that the store maintains world-class standards in all areas of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth through exceptional customer service, maintaining high store standards, managing stock levels, and executing promotional strategies.
- Minimize stock loss by fostering a positive store culture and adhering to all security protocols, cash handling procedures, and stock management processes.
- Manage operational costs in alignment with PEP’s low-cost operating model, focusing on efficient store processes.
- Oversee and ensure that all administrative duties are completed accurately and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Lead and develop your team by providing effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping to ensure a secure and clean environment for both staff and customers.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Proficiency in English
- A relevant tertiary qualification (business or retail-related degree/diploma) is advantageous.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership position.
- Computer literacy (knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google GSuite is a plus).
