Position Purpose:
As a Store Manager, you will lead a motivated store team to achieve key business KPIs, focusing on driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks and stock loss, and upholding world-class store standards. This role is perfect for a results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high store standards, managing stock, and executing promotional strategies.
  • Minimize stock loss by fostering a strong store culture, adhering to security protocols, and ensuring proper stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Control costs in line with PEP’s low-cost operating culture by improving store efficiencies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks in line with company guidelines.
  • Lead and manage a team of Dynamos by providing training, coaching, and performance management to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping to ensure a safe shopping and working environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Proficiency in English
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (degree/diploma in business or retail management) is advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and/or Google GSuite proficiency is advantageous).
