Purpose of Position:

As a Store Manager, you will lead and inspire your team to achieve business KPIs, drive sales, control costs, mitigate risks, and reduce stock loss. Your role includes overseeing store administration and ensuring that store standards are consistently world-class.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Enhancement: Boost sales by emphasizing excellent customer service, maintaining high store standards, managing stock effectively, and implementing promotions.
  • Stock Management: Minimize stock loss by fostering a positive store culture and adhering to security measures, as well as proper stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Control: Manage store costs in alignment with the company’s cost-conscious culture by driving efficiencies.
  • Administrative Oversight: Ensure all administrative tasks are performed according to company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a dynamic team by taking charge of training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Standards Maintenance: Uphold general health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in business/retail related field is advantageous).
  • Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in a leadership role within a retail environment.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate (experience with Microsoft and/or Google GSuite is a plus).
