Purpose of Position:
As a Store Manager at PEP, you will be responsible for leading your store team to achieve business KPIs by driving sales, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and managing stock loss. Your role will involve ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and maintaining world-class store standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Enhancement: Drive sales through exceptional customer service, maintaining store image, effective stock management, and promotional implementation.
  • Stock Management: Minimize stock loss by fostering a positive store culture, adhering to security protocols, and implementing sound stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Efficiency: Manage costs in line with the company’s low-cost culture by driving efficiencies within the store.
  • Administration: Oversee and ensure all administrative duties are performed according to company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a dynamic team, taking responsibility for training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Standards Maintenance: Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean store environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12; a degree or diploma in business or retail is advantageous.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a retail leadership role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in English and computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite preferred).
