Purpose of the Position:
As a Store Manager, you will lead your store team to achieve business objectives, including driving sales, controlling costs, minimizing risks and stock loss, and ensuring exceptional store standards and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales: Boost sales through outstanding customer service, maintaining high store standards, managing stock levels, and implementing promotional activities.
- Stock Loss Prevention: Reduce stock loss by fostering a positive store culture, adhering to security protocols, and ensuring proper stock and cash handling procedures are followed.
- Cost Management: Align with PEP’s low-cost philosophy by optimizing store operations and enhancing efficiencies.
- Administrative Compliance: Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in line with company policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring ongoing training, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain Standards: Uphold excellent health, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the store.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Relevant tertiary education (degree or diploma in business/retail) is an advantage.
- Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in a retail leadership role.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office/Google GSuite) is an advantage.
