Purpose of the Position:

As a Store Manager at PEP, you will lead a dynamic team to achieve business objectives, including driving sales, managing costs, minimizing risks, and maintaining high store standards. You will be responsible for ensuring world-class customer service, efficient operations, and a thriving team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth:
    • Drive sales by focusing on exceptional customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
    • Ensure effective stock management and implement promotional activities.
  • Stock Loss Prevention:
    • Cultivate a strong store culture that minimizes stock loss through effective security measures and proper handling of stock and cash.
  • Cost Management:
    • Align store operations with the company’s low-cost culture by optimizing efficiencies and managing store expenses.
  • Store Operations & Administration:
    • Ensure all store administrative duties are completed accurately and in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, coach, and develop your team to ensure high performance and engagement.
    • Take responsibility for team training and performance management to foster growth and development.
  • Standards Maintenance:
    • Maintain high health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store to ensure a safe and clean environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
    • A degree or diploma in business, retail management, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in a retail leadership role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in English.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office or Google GSuite is advantageous.
    • Strong managerial abilities with skills in planning, leading, organizing, and controlling store operations.
