Purpose of Position:

As a Store Manager, you will lead a team to achieve business KPIs, including driving sales, controlling costs, mitigating risks, reducing stock loss, and maintaining world-class store standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Enhance sales by prioritizing exceptional customer service and adhering to high store standards. Oversee store image, manage stock, and implement promotions effectively.
  • Stock Management: Minimize stock loss through a positive store culture and strict adherence to security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Management: Control expenses in line with the company’s cost-efficient culture by driving store efficiencies.
  • Administrative Duties: Ensure all administrative tasks are completed according to company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a dynamic team through training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Standards Maintenance: Uphold general health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12.
  • Language: Proficient in English.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in business/retail related field preferred).
  • Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in a leadership role within a retail environment.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite knowledge is an advantage).
