Purpose of Position:

As a Store Manager at PEP, you will lead a dedicated team to achieve key business objectives, including driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks, controlling stock loss, and maintaining exceptional store standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Enhance sales performance by prioritizing customer service, maintaining high store standards, effective stock management, and implementing promotions.
  • Risk and Stock Management: Minimize stock loss through a positive store culture and adherence to security, stock, and cash handling protocols.
  • Cost Control: Manage store expenses in line with our low-cost culture, focusing on operational efficiencies.
  • Administrative Duties: Ensure all store administrative tasks are executed according to company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a dynamic team, driving their performance and development.
  • Standards Maintenance: Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards to ensure a well-maintained store environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12; a relevant tertiary qualification in business or retail is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in English and computer literacy (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite is advantageous).
