Purpose of the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team at Paarl Mall. The role involves driving sales, managing costs, minimizing risks and stock loss, ensuring excellent store standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Drive sales by focusing on excellent customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
    • Oversee stock management and ensure successful promotional implementation.
  • Stock and Risk Management:
    • Minimize stock loss by fostering a positive store culture, adhering to security protocols, and managing stock and cash handling processes.
  • Cost Management:
    • Manage costs in alignment with the company’s low-cost culture by driving efficiency within the store.
  • Administrative Management:
    • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, train, and coach a team of enthusiastic “Dynamos.”
    • Drive team performance through motivation and skill development.
  • Standards and Compliance:
    • Maintain general health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 qualification is essential.
    • A degree or diploma in business/retail-related fields is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role within a retail environment is ideal.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in English.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is beneficial.
