Job Description:
As a Store Manager at Tekkie Town, you will be responsible for the overall management and efficient operation of the store. Your role involves leading the sales team, developing store-specific business strategies, managing expenses, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers. You will oversee stock management, minimize losses, and maintain high standards of visual merchandising and housekeeping to reflect the latest fashion trends.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1-2 years of management experience in a similar environment
- Computer literate

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance
- Oversee budgets, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and payroll management
- Maintain statistical and financial records for daily, weekly, and monthly administration
- Address customer queries and complaints promptly
- Maximize profitability by setting and achieving sales targets, motivating staff to exceed them
- Implement effective visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Manage inventory and ensure stock availability
- Secure and account for store equipment
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for both customers and staff
- Understand and work towards daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Develop store-specific action plans to minimize stock loss
