Job Description
As a Store Manager at Tekkie Town, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring a seamless and profitable shopping experience. Your role includes driving sales, developing store-specific strategies, managing expenses, and leading a motivated sales team. You will oversee all aspects of staff management, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, including stock availability, visual merchandising, and minimizing stock losses.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• 1-2 years of management experience in a similar retail environment
• Computer literate
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges with resilience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid business acumen with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on building and maintaining relationships
• Confident, decisive, and passionate about the brand
• Social media savvy and up-to-date with fashion trends

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and supervising store staff
• Managing staff performance and ensuring a positive work environment
• Overseeing store budgets, including P&L and payroll
• Maintaining accurate financial and statistical records
• Handling customer queries and complaints
• Driving profitability and achieving sales targets by motivating the team
• Managing visual merchandising and store housekeeping
• Ensuring effective stock and inventory management
• Securing and accounting for store equipment
• Maintaining a safe and compliant environment for both customers and staff
• Developing action plans to minimize stock loss and maximize operational efficiency
