Pep Vacancies – Store Manager – New Store
Purpose of the Position:
The Store Manager will lead a store team to meet key business KPIs, including driving sales, cost control, mitigating risks and stock loss, handling administration, and ensuring world-class store standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Increase sales by focusing on customer service, maintaining world-class store standards, managing stock, and implementing promotions.
- Stock Loss Management: Minimise stock loss through a healthy store culture, security measures, and adherence to stock and cash handling procedures.
- Cost Management: Manage costs in line with the company’s low-cost culture, driving efficiency across store operations.
- Administration: Ensure all administrative duties are completed in accordance with company guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Lead a dynamic team of “Dynamos,” taking responsibility for training, coaching, and performance management.
- Health and Safety Standards: Maintain high standards of general health, safety, and housekeeping.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Grade 12.
- Proficient in English.
- Relevant tertiary education (Degree/Diploma in business/retail-related field) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Ideally 1-2 years in a retail leadership role.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite) is an advantage.
