Job Description:

As a Store Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of your store, ensuring that all objectives, including store targets, innovation initiatives, and customer service standards, are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities:

• Stock Management:
  • Accurately receive, unpack, merchandise, and replenish stock on the sales floor.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels using defined processes to prevent stock loss and ensure adequate inventory.
  • Oversee stockroom maintenance to adhere to housekeeping standards.
  • Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.
• Sales Growth & Profitability:
  • Analyze sales and profitability reports to collaborate with management on action plans, enhance sales performance, and monitor store expenses.
  • Review in-store product performance, provide feedback to the support center, and identify opportunities to boost sales and brand awareness.
• Risk Management:
  • Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Customer Experience Management:
  • Implement and maintain customer experience processes, including business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, and customer feedback, to meet service standards.
• Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve KPIs and operational goals aligned with company values.
  • Identify training, coaching, and development needs, focusing on talent management and succession planning.
  • Manage recruitment, performance, and administration in line with company policies.
• Innovation:
  • Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office to enhance customer satisfaction and improve in-store processes.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a retail store management role.
• Knowledge of sales and service management.
• Budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of retail trade, brand, customer, and product.
