Responsibilities
Stock Management:
- Ensure accurate stock receipt, unpacking, and merchandising.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, and implement loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain stockroom organization and housekeeping standards.
- Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, out-of-box failures, and cellular repairs.
Sales Growth & Profitability:
- Analyze sales and profitability reports to drive store performance.
- Provide feedback on product performance to the support center.
- Identify and implement opportunities for sales growth, including in-store marketing and competitor analysis.
- Drive performance in credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular sales.
Risk Management:
- Conduct compliance checks, store audits, and security assessments.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and health and safety standards.
Customer Experience Management:
- Implement and maintain customer experience strategies, promotions, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
Leadership & Development:
- Lead and develop the store team to achieve key performance indicators.
- Identify training and coaching needs, focusing on talent development and succession planning.
- Recruit, manage performance, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Innovation:
- Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office, including mobile POS, MRP Empower, E-docs, and Money Hub, to improve in-store processes and enhance customer experiences.
Qualifications:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a store management role.
- Proficiency in sales and service management, budgeting, and computer literacy.
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of retail trade, branding, and customer engagement.
- Knowledge of cellular, mobile, new accounts, and insurance products.
