Pep Vacancies – Store Manager – Mossel Bay

Purpose of the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Store Manager to lead the Mossel Bay store team. The successful candidate will drive business performance by focusing on sales, cost management, risk mitigation, stock control, and maintaining exceptional store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Boost sales through excellent customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
    • Oversee stock management and ensure effective promotional execution.
  • Stock and Risk Management:
    • Minimize stock loss by fostering a positive store culture and enforcing security measures.
    • Ensure adherence to cash and stock handling procedures.
  • Cost Management:
    • Uphold the company’s low-cost culture by optimizing store operations and driving efficiency.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company policies and guidelines.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a dynamic team, ensuring training, coaching, and performance management.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration and growth within the team.
  • Standards and Compliance:
    • Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards in line with company requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 is essential.
    • A degree or diploma in business or a retail-related field is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Ideally, 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role within a retail environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is advantageous.
