Position Purpose:
As a Store Manager, you will lead and inspire a dynamic team to achieve key business goals, including driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks and stock loss, and ensuring top-tier store standards. This role is perfect for someone passionate about retail leadership and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales by maintaining high customer service standards, managing stock, and executing promotional activities.
- Minimize stock loss by fostering a positive store culture and following robust security, stock, and cash handling protocols.
- Control costs by implementing efficiency measures aligned with PEP’s low-cost culture.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead and coach a high-performing team, ensuring team development through training and performance management.
- Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards in line with company expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Proficiency in English
- Relevant tertiary qualification (degree/diploma in business or retail management) is an advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment, ideally in a leadership role.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and/or Google GSuite proficiency is an advantage).
