Pep Vacancies – Store Manager – Middelburg

Purpose of the Position:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to lead the Middelburg store team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving business KPIs, including driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks and stock loss, handling administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Drive sales through exceptional customer service and world-class store standards.
    • Maintain the store image, manage stock effectively, and implement promotions successfully.
  • Stock and Risk Management:
    • Minimize stock loss by fostering a healthy store culture and implementing robust security measures.
    • Ensure adherence to stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Management:
    • Uphold the company’s low-cost culture by managing expenses and driving efficiencies within the store.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure all administrative tasks align with company guidelines and are completed accurately.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, train, and motivate a team of “Dynamos” to achieve optimal performance.
    • Focus on coaching and professional development.
  • Standards and Compliance:
    • Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and compliant store environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 qualification is essential.
    • A degree or diploma in business or a retail-related field is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Ideally, 1–2 years of experience in a leadership role within a retail environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in English.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is an advantage.
