Purpose of Position:

As a Store Manager at PEP, you will lead your team to achieve key business objectives, drive sales, manage costs, and maintain high store standards. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering a productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Enhance sales performance by prioritizing customer service, upholding store image, managing stock effectively, and executing promotional strategies.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost-saving measures in line with the company’s low-cost culture and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Risk and Stock Management: Reduce stock loss by cultivating a positive store culture and adhering to security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
  • Administrative Excellence: Ensure all store administrative tasks are completed according to company policies.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and coach a dynamic team, fostering their development and ensuring high performance.
  • Standards Maintenance: Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the store.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12; relevant tertiary qualification (a degree or diploma in business/retail is advantageous).
  • Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in a retail leadership role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in English and computer literacy (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite preferred).
