Pep Vacancies – Store Manager – Kenako mall

Purpose of the Position:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Store Manager to lead the Kenako Mall team. The ideal candidate will focus on achieving business KPIs, including driving sales, managing costs, minimizing risks and stock loss, handling administration, and ensuring world-class store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Boost sales by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
    • Ensure effective stock management and successful promotional implementation.
  • Stock and Risk Management:
    • Minimize stock loss through fostering a healthy store culture, implementing security measures, and managing stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Management:
    • Uphold the company’s low-cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in line with company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a team of “Dynamos,” focusing on training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Standards and Compliance:
    • Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and secure store environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12 qualification is essential.
    • A degree or diploma in business or retail-related fields is an advantage.
  • Experience:
    • Ideally, 1–2 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in English.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite is advantageous.
