Job Purpose:
We’re looking for an energetic and self-motivated Store Manager to lead our team at Gugulethu Mall. Your goal will be to optimize store performance, exceed customer expectations, and ensure the successful implementation of our operational strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a brand ambassador and uphold Ackermans’ standards.
• Effectively lead, motivate, and develop your team to reach performance goals.
• Manage merchandise, stock, and cost controls to maximize store profitability.
• Maintain high standards for store appearance and customer service.
• Drive continuous improvement in sales and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: At least 2 years of retail experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Skills: Strong merchandise management, stock, and cost control abilities.
• Leadership: Proven ability to influence and guide a team.
• Personal Growth: Willingness to develop yourself and support team growth.
• Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in a second official language is advantageous.
• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Additional qualifications in retail or business are beneficial.
