Purpose of the Position:
As a Store Manager at PEP, you will lead your store team to achieve business goals by driving sales, managing costs, minimizing risks and stock loss, ensuring smooth administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales: Focus on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining the store’s image, and implementing promotions effectively to increase sales.
- Minimize Stock Loss: Build a positive store culture, enforce security protocols, and follow best practices in stock and cash handling.
- Cost Management: Promote a low-cost culture by improving operational efficiencies within the store.
- Administrative Oversight: Ensure all store administration aligns with company policies and standards.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and manage a dynamic team of Dynamos, ensuring their performance aligns with company goals.
- Health and Safety Standards: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 qualification is essential. A degree or diploma in a business or retail-related field is advantageous.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a retail environment with a leadership role.
- Skills: Proficiency in English and computer literacy (experience with Microsoft Office or Google GSuite is an advantage).
- Availability: Willingness to work retail hours in a fast-paced environment.
