About the Role
Join Mr Price Money Cellular as a Store Manager and lead the daily operations of our dynamic store. Your expertise will drive store performance, ensure outstanding customer experiences, and lead a motivated team to achieve and exceed objectives. Key Responsibilities
1. Stock Management:
- Ensure accurate receipt and unpacking of stock to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
- Monitor and manage stock levels using defined processes (stock counts, stock takes, stock loss action plans).
- Mitigate stock loss risks and maintain adequate stock on hand.
- Oversee stockroom maintenance to meet housekeeping standards.
- Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, out-of-box failures (OBF), cellular repairs, and returns.
2. Sales Growth & Profitability:
- Analyze sales and profitability reports to identify and implement operational action plans.
- Drive sales performance and monitor store expenditure.
- Review in-store product performance and provide feedback to the support center.
- Identify and propose strategies to increase sales and brand awareness, including in-store marketing and competitor shopping.
- Achieve budget targets for credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular sales.
3. Risk Management:
- Conduct compliance checks through defined processes, including store audits, admin checks, health and safety standards, and security protocols.
- Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
4. Customer Experience Management:
- Implement customer experience processes, including markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual merchandising standards.
- Address customer feedback and ensure general housekeeping aligns with service standards.
5. Leadership & Development:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve store KPIs and align with the operational strategy and company values.
- Identify and address training, coaching, and development needs to build talent and support succession planning.
- Manage recruitment, performance, and team administration in line with company policies.
6. Innovation:
- Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office, such as Mpos, MRP Empower, E-docs, and Money Hub, to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline in-store processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a store management position.
- Strong sales and service management, budgeting, and computer literacy skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of retail trade, brand, customer service, cellular, mobile, new accounts, and insurance products.
