Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead and oversee daily store operations. Your role will be crucial in achieving store objectives, including meeting targets, driving innovation initiatives, and maintaining high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

Stock Management:

  • Ensure accurate receipt and unpacking of stock to merchandise and replenish the sales floor effectively.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels using defined processes to mitigate risks such as stock loss and ensure sufficient stock availability.
  • Oversee stockroom maintenance to meet housekeeping standards.
  • Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability:

  • Analyze in-store sales and profitability reports to collaborate with management on operational action plans, boost sales performance, and control store expenditure.
  • Review and stay updated on product performance to provide feedback to the support center and enhance sales.
  • Identify and propose new opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and enforce overall compliance.

Customer Experience Management:

  • Implement and maintain customer experience processes through business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual standards to meet and exceed customer service expectations.

Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve KPIs and align with operational strategies in line with company values.
  • Identify and address training, coaching, and development needs with a focus on talent management and succession planning.
  • Recruit, administer, and manage team performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Innovation:

  • Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline in-store processes.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in retail store management.
  • Knowledge of sales and service management, budgeting, and retail trade.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of retail operations, brand management, and customer needs.
