Job Objectives:
-
Drive and maximize the store’s financial performance by tracking daily targets and executing weekly and monthly sales plans, while taking proactive actions to meet sales goals.
-
Effectively manage all operational activities within the store, including overseeing expenses, stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration.
-
Ensure successful in-store execution of visual merchandising, maintaining store presentation, and meeting promotional standards in line with the brand’s image.
-
Lead and manage a motivated and competent team through effective selection, leadership, management, and ongoing development to meet business needs.

Schedule staff in accordance with the Group’s labor policy and model to ensure each department is appropriately staffed.

Handle all administrative responsibilities efficiently, ensuring accurate weekly time and attendance and employee records are submitted to HR.
-
Execute customer service initiatives within the store, taking corrective action to improve the customer experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, such as center managers, suppliers, and DCs, to achieve business objectives and maximize opportunities.

Monitor customer trends, demographics, and local competitors to capitalize on market opportunities.

Foster cohesion between store operations, pharmacy, and clinic teams to ensure integration and consistency.

Cultivate a high-performance business culture focused on employee affiliation, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.

Uphold and promote the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice in health and beauty by living and driving the company values.
Knowledge:

Strong understanding and application of financial management principles

In-depth knowledge of retail/FMCG operations, merchandising, and promotions

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a store management role within retail or FMCG operations, or successful completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
-
Financial management experience, including budgets, profit and loss statements, and financial ratios
Education:
-
Essential: Grade 12 with 50% in Maths and English
-
Essential: B. Degree or Diploma in retail, finance management, pharmacy, or a related field (External applicants)
