Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team in driving store sales, ensuring efficient stock management, and overseeing store administration. This role requires a strong leader to maintain high standards, achieve business targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Promotion:
  • Drive sales and implement strategies to maximize store turnover.
• Stock and Expense Management:
  • Manage inventory levels, control expenses, and ensure stock loss benchmarks are met.
  • Utilize store resources effectively to enhance productivity.
• Target Achievement:
  • Achieve or exceed set targets for the store.
• Policy and Procedure Management:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of stock management and operational policies.
• Staff Management and Training:
  • Oversee the management and training of all store associates.
  • Foster a positive store culture by treating staff with respect and professionalism.
• Customer Service Excellence:
  • Ensure all customer interactions meet high service standards.
• Store Maintenance:
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with legal and company requirements.

Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics is an advantage).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Retail Store Management or as an Assistant Store Manager, preferably in a similar retail environment.
• Excellent verbal and written business English skills.
