Job Description:
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards of service, presentation, and product quality. You will lead and inspire a diverse team, manage inventory and financial aspects, and ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and scheduling to optimize performance.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and product quality.
  • Control inventory, manage supply orders, and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Prepare reports on sales, budgeting, and inventory management for review and strategic planning.
  • Implement and manage marketing and promotional campaigns to drive store performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager within Spar or a similar retail managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of customer service, inventory management, and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in retail management or a related field.
