Purpose of Position:

As a Store Manager at PEP, you will lead your store team to achieve key business objectives, including driving sales, managing costs, reducing risks and stock loss, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the highest standards of store operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Boost sales by enhancing customer service, upholding world-class store standards, maintaining the store’s image, managing stock, and executing promotional strategies.
  • Stock Loss Prevention: Minimize stock loss through a positive store culture and strict adherence to security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures.
  • Cost Management: Implement cost-control strategies in alignment with the company’s low-cost culture to enhance store efficiency.
  • Administrative Oversight: Ensure all store administrative functions are performed in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and coach a dynamic team, taking responsibility for their performance and development.
  • Standards Maintenance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in business/retail-related field is advantageous).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google GSuite is a plus).
