Description
Purpose of Position:
Lead a dynamic store team to achieve business KPIs by driving sales, controlling costs, mitigating risks, minimizing stock loss, ensuring administrative efficiency, and maintaining world-class store standards.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:

    • Drive sales by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining world-class store standards.
    • Ensure effective stock management, promotional execution, and a positive store image.

Stock Loss and Risk Management:

    • Minimize stock loss by fostering a healthy store culture, adhering to security measures, and implementing sound stock and cash handling procedures.

Cost Management:

    • Uphold the company’s low-cost culture by driving operational efficiencies and managing costs effectively.

Administrative Excellence:

    • Ensure all store administrative duties are completed in line with company guidelines.

Team Leadership:

    • Lead, train, coach, and develop the store team to excel.
    • Take accountability for team performance and alignment with company goals.

Standards and Safety:

    • Maintain general health, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the store.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (Matric).
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in business or retail is advantageous (degree/diploma preferred).
    • 1–2 years’ experience in a retail environment within a leadership role is ideal.
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google G Suite advantageous).
