Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Motorbike & Vehicle Driver for our Benmore Store. As a Store Driver, your primary responsibility is to deliver goods to customers safely and on time. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude throughout the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to customers promptly and safely, following the specified routes and schedules.
• Prioritize fridge line deliveries and use cooler boxes with cold packs for transport.
• Ensure correct products are delivered to the correct customers, obtaining the necessary signatures and documentation.
• Return to the store immediately after deliveries to ensure efficient use of the vehicle for additional deliveries.
• Safely transport fragile and hazardous items, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Follow all road traffic rules and comply with the National Road Traffic Act.
• Complete and maintain an accurate vehicle logbook, and report any defects, accidents, or incidents to the manager.
• Be accountable for all damages or losses during the delivery process.
• Process payments via EFT and cash, ensuring proper documentation.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in safe operating condition, reporting any issues immediately.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and provide prompt feedback to management on customer complaints, compliments, or requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Valid driver’s license (code A1 for motorbikes)
• Willingness to work retail hours and/or shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role

Special Conditions of Employment:

• Physically fit to lift and move heavy boxes, and willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license (code A1) with no infractions
• Reliable transport or residence near the store
• South African citizenship
