Description:
As a Stock Controller at BUCO, you will be pivotal in managing our inventory effectively. Your key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and checking reports regularly
Analyzing the cost of stock-outs
Managing supplier returns efficiently
Keeping the cycle counter updated
Validating stock variances and clearing negative stock
Maintaining accurate bin locations
Investigating and addressing bad risk stock
Conducting stock takes
Running reports for “no stock, no demand” and deletions
Ensuring existing stock is properly binned
Monitoring stock performance metrics
Providing variance data to the operator, including a detailed report for the 8-week cycle each month

Requirements:

Grade 12 certificate
3 years of stock control experience; alternatively, a Certificate in Retailing (NQF 5) or a Certificate in Retail Operations Management (NQF 5)
If no certificate, completion of at least 3 of the following skills programs:
- Understanding factors impacting the bottom line of a W&R unit
- Supervising the implementation of loss control measures
- Supervising stock counts
- Replenishing stock in a retail business
- Managing stock holding procedures in a wholesale and retail outlet
- Picking stock in a distribution center
- Moving, packing, and maintaining stock
- Receiving stock into a distribution center
- Counting stock for stock takes
- Dispatching stock from a distribution center
