Job Description:
Buco is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Control Assistant to join our team in Jeffreys Bay. The role involves:
- Report Checking: Review and verify stock reports.
- Stock-out Management: Check costs associated with stock-outs and manage supplier returns.
- Cycle Counting: Keep cycle counters up to date and validate stock variances.
- Negative Stock Clearance: Address and resolve negative stock issues.
- Bin Maintenance: Maintain and organize bin locations for efficient stock management.
- Risk Investigation: Investigate and address bad risk stock.
- Stock Take: Conduct regular stock takes and generate no stock, no demand reports.
- Report Generation: Run deletion reports and ensure existing stock is properly binned.
- Stock Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess stock performance.
- Variance Data: Provide stock variance data to the operator for monthly cycles.
Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12
- Experience: 3 years of stock control experience, or
- Qualifications: Certificate in Retailing (NQF 5) or Certificate in Retail Operations Management (NQF 5), or
- Skills Programmes: If no certificate, completion of at least 3 of the following skills programmes:
- Explain factors impacting the bottom line of a W&R unit
- Supervise implementation of loss control measures
- Supervise stock counts
- Replenish stock in a retail business
- Manage stock holding procedures in a wholesale and retail outlet
- Pick stock in a distribution centre
- Move, pack, and maintain stock
- Receive stock into a distribution centre
- Count stock for a stock-take
- Dispatch stock from a distribution centre
