Shoprite Vacancies – Stock Accounts Officer – Brackenfell
Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Accounts Officer to manage essential clerical and bookkeeping tasks for our Meat Markets division. This role involves liaising with stakeholders, processing invoices, reconciling stock, and performing other key administrative functions to ensure accuracy in order and transaction capturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with cold storage to validate weekly claims and confirm stock returns.
- Process claims in SAP and conduct claim analysis.
- Reconcile system orders with placed orders, ensuring open orders remain in the cold store or have been returned.
- Capture storage and delivery invoices, reconciling weekly charges accurately.
- Reconcile stock to ensure weekly stock movements align with cold store reports.
- Work closely with creditors to confirm invoice receipt at Head Office and verify supplier payments and stock receipts.
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Identify and analyze stock variances, implementing corrective actions.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and escalate system errors as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4)
- Desirable: Diploma (NQF Level 6)
Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of import/export processes (desirable).
- Strong understanding of stock and inventory systems.
- Familiarity with SAP and administrative systems is advantageous.
