As the business continues to grow, the EMEA region is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the team in Olifantsfontein or Midrand, South Africa.
Job Purpose
The Sourcing Manager will implement local and regional category-specific strategies while working closely with procurement teams across the region. This role is responsible for identifying and recommending best-in-class suppliers, maintaining supplier relationships, and leading negotiations at the local level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sourcing support for key business initiatives and conduct supply market research to guide investment decisions.
- Establish and manage local or sub-regional contracts with strategic suppliers to drive cost savings and efficiency.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ensure procurement processes contribute to value creation and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to integrate procurement as a value-adding function.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality, cost, and service level expectations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
