About the Role

The Shop Assistant / Cashier X1 delivers service excellence through efficient customer service, accurate point-of-sale (POS) operations, and in-store merchandising to create a positive and rewarding customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Objectives:

  • Execute all POS operational activities efficiently and within required timelines.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and processing payments, including applying clubcard rewards.
  • Handle cash safely and in line with company procedures at all times.
  • Actively promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
  • Inform customers of current promotions to drive sales and enhance value perception.
  • Provide superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador with a friendly, visible, and professional presence.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and complete general housekeeping duties in line with store and visual merchandising requirements.
  • Support the Group’s vision by living company values and positioning the brand as the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, ranges, promotions, and in-store events to provide accurate customer guidance.
