Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service to ensure a great shopping experience.
- Assist shoppers in locating products and address queries or complaints.
- Cashier Duties:
- Process cash and card payments, manage Lay-Bys and refunds, and balance tills accurately.
- Report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Merchandising:
- Ensure correct pricing and display of stock and maintain product availability on the sales floor.
- Keep the store clean and stay informed about current promotions.
- Risk Management:
- Tag products per company policy, participate in stock takes, and stay vigilant for shoplifting or fraudulent activities.
- Adherence to Standards:
- Uphold Ackermans values, policies, and procedures in all responsibilities.
