In this P27 Shop Assistant/Cashier role, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers by managing stock replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping, and smoothly processing transactions at the till. Skills & Experience Required:
- Customer Service: Excellent service skills to ensure a great shopping experience.
- Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Attributes: High energy, tenacious, motivated, and goal-focused.
- Experience: Prior retail experience is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Assist customers in locating products and provide support with any queries or complaints for a seamless shopping experience.
- Cashier Duties:
- Process cash and card transactions, handle Lay-Bys, manage refunds, report discrepancies, and ensure accurate till balancing.
- Merchandising & Housekeeping:
- Ensure stock is accurately priced, well-displayed, and available on the sales floor. Maintain store cleanliness and stay informed on current promotions.
- Risk & Security:
- Tag products per policy, participate in stock takes, and remain vigilant for shoplifting or suspicious activities, reporting any concerns to management.
