Job Purpose
The Service Centre Clerk will provide essential clerical support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Service Centre. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the Centre’s functions.

Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 with at least one year of administrative experience.

Required Job Competencies

  • General administration for the Service Centre as needed.

  • Inventory control and safekeeping practices for the Service Centre.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety policies and procedures.

  • Provide customer-centric service to both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to manage tasks independently and work effectively within a team.

  • Capable of multi-skilling across departments as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong product and service knowledge.

  • Perform administrative duties with proficiency.

  • Utilize SAP systems competently.

  • Maintain warehouse safety standards and responsible care practices.

  • Apply warehouse knowledge and experience effectively.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of JG Group policies, practices, and systems.

  • Understand the JD Group operating model.

  • Adhere to both express and implied ethical responsibilities.

  • Manage warehouse stock controls accurately.

  • Oversee petty cash administration.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation.

  • Apply strong numeracy and literacy skills in daily tasks.

  • Exhibit clear and effective communication skills.

  • Display emotional maturity and personal resilience.

  • Maintain attention to detail and a sense of urgency in all tasks.
