Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Grade 10 (Grade 12 is advantageous)
• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Provide prompt, courteous assistance to customers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Exceed customer expectations with friendly, high-quality service.
• Meat Preparation and Display:
  • Assist butchers with preparing and cutting meats according to company standards.
  • Portion and package meats for display and customer orders.
  • Help create an attractive butchery display, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Assist with merchandising in the butchery area.
• Quality and Safety Standards:
  • Keep all butchery utensils, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Adhere to food safety protocols, including temperature checks, cleaning schedules, and hygiene standards.
  • Follow stock rotation procedures to maintain freshness.
• Inventory and Stock Handling:
  • Receive and organize stock items delivered daily.
  • Monitor supplies and address any issues with defective items or equipment.
  • Collaborate with the main kitchen to receive ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Additional Duties:
  • Support food preparation for special requests and events.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the butchery manager.
