As a Senior Specialist in our Converged Solutions team, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming industries by delivering cutting-edge fixed solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for key industry verticals, regions, and segments in line with MTN’s Fixed Solutions sales goals.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, driving consistent revenue growth, market penetration, and solution adoption.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to create comprehensive account or territory plans and exceed sales targets.

Business Development and Client Engagement:

  • Implement consultative sales techniques, focusing on understanding client needs and delivering tailored technology solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities, working closely with Account Managers to ensure quality proposals and RFP submissions.
  • Expand market presence by up-selling and cross-selling within established accounts and cultivating new business relationships.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including presales architects and external partners, to drive large, complex deals to closure.

Product Development and Collaboration:

  • Partner with Solution Architects to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide feedback on product performance and collaborate on the development of new offerings to drive business outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MTN Fixed Solutions and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.

Governance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure alignment with MTN’s sales processes, policies, and risk management protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum 3-year diploma, preferably in ICT.
  • Fluent in the local language, with a basic command of English.
  • At least 3 years of experience in complex technology solution sales, engaging senior stakeholders in large enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience working with account managers and delivering ICT solutions in medium-sized organizations.
