Senior Sourcing Specialist – Enaex
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the unit operations plan by executing key activities, monitoring performance, and maintaining stakeholder communication.
- Track and report on performance against targets, identifying concerns, and delivering clear quarterly updates.
- Analyze unit performance, identify anomalies, and apply corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with policies through training and timely resolution of queries.
- Adhere to established processes while proactively addressing procedural gaps.
- Propose process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and presenting data-backed recommendations.
- Lead the end-to-end contracting process, negotiating favorable terms, minimizing risk, and optimizing supplier performance.
- Execute strategic sourcing plans to ensure contracts are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maximize on-Contract spend by developing sourcing strategies and monitoring compliance.
- Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts in line with supply chain policies and legal requirements.
- Enhance contract performance through continuous monitoring and necessary adjustments.
- Deliver detailed reports on contract compliance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Mitigate contractual risks by maintaining validity, training stakeholders, and resolving supplier issues.
- Strengthen stakeholder relationships by addressing inquiries promptly and fostering contract awareness.
- Manage budgeted expenditures by reviewing cost components and enforcing policy compliance.
- Monitor financial data, identify variances, and implement corrective measures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracts Management, or related field.
- CIPS certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and SAP Ariba Contracting.
- Minimum 5 years of contracts experience in mining, explosives, or manufacturing industries.
