Anova Vacancies – Senior HR Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a committed Professional Nurse to drive the implementation of the 95-95-95 strategy. This role involves initiating HIV-infected clients on ART, PrEP, and STI treatment while offering mentorship and support to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Anova 95-95-95 in-facility activities, including chairing facility meetings, weekly data reviews, and liaising between Anova and facility teams.
  • Collaborate with outreach teams to facilitate referrals and initiate ART for eligible HIV-infected clients, including PrEP.
  • Provide follow-up care for patients on treatment in accordance with DoH HIV Management guidelines, Anova’s work plan, and facility-specific 95-95-95 plans.
  • Routinely monitor and review performance and registers of TB/HIV/STI programs at facility levels, offering mentorship and technical support as needed.
  • Identify underperforming indicators and develop and implement Quality Improvement (QI) plans in collaboration with facility teams.
  • Conduct in-service training for clinic staff, focusing on MSM diversity and biomedical training, and provide mentorship at facilities.
  • Use Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) tools to report weekly to Anova’s sub-district team on ART initiation and TPT progress.
  • Support the implementation of I-ACT support groups and chronic treatment clubs in alignment with Anova’s work plan.
  • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Contribute to HITT projects by assisting with data clean-up activities.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required

  • A degree or diploma qualification as a Professional Nurse.
  • Registered as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
  • Certified NIMART-trained professional (Western Cape) with competency to work independently.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in clinic-based work (PHC or CHC).
  • At least 2 years’ experience in NIMART.
  • Familiarity with the latest HIV Management, PrEP, STI, and TB guidelines.
  • PHC Qualification (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing and excellent organizational skills, including time management and multitasking.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
