Purpose of the Position:
As a Senior Business Analyst at PEP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our finance systems and business processes align with industry standards and best practices. Your focus will be on enhancing business processes, supporting technology users, and providing comprehensive business and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Propose and implement new developments and changes to business processes and technology.
  • Documentation: Document business processes along with functional and technical specifications.
  • Testing and Support: Conduct system testing and provide implementation support.
  • Change Management: Oversee change management processes and deliver user training.
  • System Consulting: Offer consulting and user support for system-related issues.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Finance or Commercial degree with a focus on analytical or commercial subjects.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a systems or business analyst, preferably in a retail or financial environment.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting practices, including financial reconciliations, depreciation, and stock accounting.
  • ERP Systems: Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software processes.
  • Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Project, Excel, Word, MS Access, and Visio. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including change impact management and testing methodologies.
  • Project Experience: Experience leading large, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Methodologies: Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and business process management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Leadership: Experience in managing and developing junior Business Analysts.

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications in Information Systems or Finance.
  • SAP Certification.
  • Business Analysis Certification/Diploma.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience in IT Service Management and Defect Management.
