Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive manual and automated test cases that meet industry standards.

  • Provide valuable feedback on quality assurance practices, advocating for improvements where necessary.

  • Conduct detailed problem-solving and root cause analysis to address defects, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

  • Track defects carefully, ensuring thorough completion and high-quality outcomes.

  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA organization, driving quality excellence.

  • Stay up to date with emerging testing technologies and tools, integrating innovative solutions into QA processes.

  • Apply quality testing principles consistently throughout the Agile product lifecycle, enhancing product reliability.

  • Architect, build, and maintain robust testing frameworks to support efficient and scalable testing practices.

  • Deliver engaging demos, showcasing testing strategies and outcomes to stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive test cases (both manual and automated) and perform result analysis to ensure quality standards are met.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification

  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Qualification

  • ISEB/ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst

  • ISEB/ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer

  • 5-8 years of testing experience

  • 3-5 years of Automation experience

  • Experience in project management and QA methodology

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in at least one development language (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.)

  • Strong familiarity with multiple test automation frameworks, processes, and technologies

  • Strong automation experience with Rest Assured for REST API testing

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Pivotal, DevOps, and CI/CD tools and processes

  • Proven experience in developing scalable test automation solutions
