Job Description:

Buco is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our Brackenfell team. This role involves external sales, customer service, and market research to drive sales and achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. External Sales: Engage with clients to promote and sell products.
  2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service and support to all customers.
  3. Market Research: Conduct research to understand market trends and customer needs.
  4. Order & Quotation Follow-Up: Track and follow up on orders and quotations to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  5. New Business Sourcing: Identify and acquire new business opportunities.
  6. Budget & Sales Management: Manage budgets, set goals, and achieve sales targets.
  7. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales activities and performance.
  8. Customer Query Resolution: Address and resolve customer queries and issues.
  9. Follow-Ups: Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to build strong relationships and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  10. Company Values: Uphold and promote Buco’s values and culture.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar sales position
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the general building material environment is essential
  • Skills:
    • Ability to estimate and calculate house plans
    • Proven success in personal selling and achieving sales targets
    • Strong customer service skills and experience in finding and converting new business
    • Competence in managing and coordinating regular stock takes
