Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Execute a structured weekly call cycle (8+ high-quality visits daily).
- Conduct store audits, ensuring optimal shelf health, pricing, and merchandising compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Store and Regional Managers.
- Negotiate promotions, displays, and expanded shelf space.
- Analyze promotional performance using IRI and internal sales tools.
- Oversee merchandisers and report on store performance metrics.
- Deliver actionable sales reports with insights to improve underperforming areas.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of FMCG field sales experience.
- Proven track record with major retailers (e.g., Woolworths, pick n pay, Checkers, Dischem, Clicks, Spar, Makro).
- Strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in sales tools, data analysis, and reporting.
- Relevant diploma or degree (advantageous).
