Job Overview:

Fidelity is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our Sales department’s daily operations through various administrative tasks. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of our sales processes and ensuring excellent client service.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting.
  • Post-school qualification is an added advantage.
  • PSIRA Grade B qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant reporting to Senior Management.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
  • Clear criminal record with no pending cases.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle work-related stress and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Independent worker with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player capable of driving individual assignments/projects.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Provide administrative support to Sales Consultants.
  • Generate quotes and manage administration for National Contracts.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all support departments.
  • Take ownership of escalated queries, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up with clients.
  • Collaborate with staff members to identify and resolve client queries.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for clients, management, and individual staff.
  • Record and distribute meeting agendas and minutes promptly.
  • Type correspondence as required and maintain the department’s filing system.
  • Ensure accurate distribution of outgoing documentation.
  • Screen and prioritize all incoming documentation/correspondence for the department, gathering required information from other departments.
  • Answer and screen all calls to the department.
  • Manage purchase orders, quotes, and sales orders.
  • Provide telephonic assistance with any problems or complaints that reach the Sales department.
  • Welcome and assist visitors to the department, ensuring their comfort.
  • Carry out any ad-hoc functions as requested by the Head of Department (HOD).
