Vacancy: Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements, providing top-tier security solutions.
  • Drive sales of alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and other security products.
  • Consistently exceed monthly sales targets by proactively identifying customer needs and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record, ideally in capital goods sales.
  • Knowledge of intruder detection equipment (IDS, DSC, AJAX, or similar systems) is an advantage.
  • Matric or equivalent qualification.

Job Requirements & Attributes:

  • Highly self-motivated, energetic, and determined to succeed.
  • Exceptional selling, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, and internet applications.
  • Presentable, professional appearance with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • A natural “hunter” mentality for new business opportunities, with a passion for electronics and technical equipment.

Duties:

  • Generate leads and close deals using both self-sourced leads and those provided internally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to track sales progress and ensure targets are met.
  • Handle all administrative duties related to sales with attention to detail.

Performance Standards:

  • Achieve sales revenue targets and continuously expand the client base.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and quotes to maximize sales conversion rates.
