An exciting opportunity awaits! Join our dynamic team as a Sales Consultant and make a real impact in the security industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements, offering valuable security solutions to customers.
  • Drive sales of alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences, and other security products to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Consistently exceed monthly sales targets through a proactive and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record, ideally in capital goods sales.
  • Knowledge of intruder detection systems such as IDS, DSC, AJAX, or other alarm systems is advantageous.
  • Matric or equivalent qualification.

Job Requirements & Attributes:

  • Self-motivated and energetic, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Exceptional sales skills with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for effective client engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and Internet use.
  • Presentable appearance, professional demeanor, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transport.
  • Passion for electronic and technical equipment with a keen interest in securing new business.
  • Minimum PSIRA Grade C required.

Duties:

  • Generate and close sales deals, utilizing both self-sourced leads and those provided internally.
  • Develop relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Provide regular reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly) to track sales progress and ensure targets are met.
  • Handle administrative duties with attention to detail to maintain accurate sales records.

Performance Standards:

  • Achieve revenue sales targets and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Follow up promptly on all leads and quotes to ensure high conversion rates.
